Project X
About "Project X"
A deadly creature is on the loose and the workers at Mt. Diablo Power Plant have no idea what's headed their way. It's the ultimate power struggle as they battle the monster, each other, and their own inner demons.

November 19, 2004, 10:00 pm — The night shift starts its work at West Coast Energy's Power Plant 67. It was a Friday night, just like any other for these eight workers: the usual equipment problems, menial tasks, and squabbles with other employees. But just six hours later, most of the workers were dead and the power plant was in flames. What happened? The answer has been shrouded in mystery for more than two years.

West Coast Energy claimed the explosion was an accident — a tragic equipment malfunction. But federal agents — who were at the scene before any emergency personnel had arrived — inexplicably took charge of the clean-up operation. The cover story was widely questioned at the time, but the true story has never been uncovered . . . until now.

For the first time ever, the truth about the plant's destruction is now be revealed. Based on the account of survivor David Scott,
Project X tells the true story of what happened to Power Plant 67 and those eight workers on that fateful November night. Uncover the truth with us in the suspenseful and dramatic Project X: The True Story of Power Plant 67.

Produced and directed by Joshua Sikora, Project X is a compelling, fresh take on traditional creature features. With a strong ensemble cast, the production is ultimately about the characters and their responses in the midst of this deadly crisis. Shot on location in a real, operating power plant, Project X delivers both drama and thrills.

About the Feature Film
A deadly creature is on the loose and the workers at Mt. Diablo Power Plant have no idea what's headed their way. It's the ultimate power struggle as they battle the monster, each other, and their own inner demons.

Project X was one of the world's first "web serials" — a feature-length film first released online in short five-minute episodes. It's twenty-four episodes, released in late 2007, were watched by more than a million viewers and the serial was an audience favorite on YouTube, leading the site to call it one of "the best dramas the web has to offer."

Now for the first time, Project X is available as a feature film. The new 89-minute cut of the film recompiles all of the episodes of the serial and is improved with polished sound, picture, and visual effects.
